The Ozone IMP III Trainer kite is a high quality foil kite manufactured by the worlds leading foil kite and paraglider companies. The kite comes with 18m lines in a three line configuration (2 x front lines and a back brake/safety line) and is available in 1.5m, 2.5m and 3.5m sizes. The larger the kite the more power. The smaller the kite, the stronger the wind you can fly it in.
The IMP III trainer is designed to fly like a full sized power kite and is the ideal learning kite if you are going to get into kite surfing or land boarding. The relaunch ability after a crash is easy with the use of the third brake line. Just pull on the brake and turn the bar to allow the kite to relaunch on it's own without assistance. This saves huge frustration and allows more time actually flying the kite than chasing after it setting it up for re-launch after every crash.
The safety leash is connected to the brake line and when the bar is released, kills all power of the kite and allows the kite to fall harmlessly to the ground where it will stay until relaunched.
The IMP III trainer also comes complete with a basic "how to" and set up and fly manual. This is a great little kite for the whole family to enjoy and not just for those interested in kite surfing.
